Whether your priority is to maintain the shop, clean the car, or tidy up the CAT front loader, almost everyone will need a wet/dry vacuum cleaner at some point. Our friend Eli Mosley invited us to the ranch after discovering that we have Greenworks Pro 60V Hybrid Shop Vacuum.
Eli had a small problem with the CAT front loader, and the cordless vacuum cleaner was exactly what he needed. The glass broke through one of the windows, and he needed to clean the inside of the cab. The loader has returned to the barn, so we don't really need wireless convenience, but it's a good bonus.
Another problem is that the glasses on the ranch are still outside, which is potentially dangerous to the cattle. We could have shoveled dirt into the cart with a rake. However, it is possible for a cordless vacuum cleaner to handle the cleaning work with less effort.
Greenworks specified this vacuum cleaner as 19 kPa, or 36 inches of water lift. Flip the hose to the exhaust port, and you can get 90 CFM airflow. For our purposes, this is enough to clean the glass in the cab and the field. With a 9-gallon capacity, even with additional pasture soil, there are enough containers to hit both without stopping to dump.
After using it for a period of time, we think it is very suitable for hard surface, spot cleaning, if you want to adjust it to fit your table saw or miter saw, it can make a good dust collector. It is not as useful as the higher CFM model when you are trying to deep clean the entire workshop or carpet.
This vac has only one speed, so the running time is not claimed based on low power consumption performance when playing games. We decided to use a pair of 4.0Ah batteries to run, and the brushed motor runs continuously for 33 minutes and 6 seconds. This is enough for the kind of vehicle cleaning we do. For some larger jobs around shops and houses, it is easy to find an exit.
In addition to the 7-foot-long, 1 7/8-inch diameter flexible hose, you can also get two extension rods, a crevice tool, utility nozzles, and a washable filter.
Emptying a full tank full of water can be painful, so we really like Greenworks putting a drain plug on this vacuum cleaner. It is also very generous, the opening is large enough to quickly empty the tank.
You can buy the Greenworks cordless vacuum cleaner as a bare metal directly from the Greenworks website for $129.99. There are currently no kit options.
