The Department of Public Safety reports that there are no leads yet on the suspect of the recent burglary that happened in a Kagman farm over the weekend.

According to DPS spokesperson Adrian Pangelinan, the department had no leads to report as of 12pm yesterday on the suspect of the burglary.

DPS continues to investigate the burglary and for anyone who may have information on the incident, feel free to contact the CNMI Crime Stoppers hotline at 234-7272.

Stolen items include a Makita chop saw, a bush cutter, a chainsaw, a Craftsman tool box set, a Dewalt router, a Dewalt grinder, a 5-gallon fuel container, a 220V ARC welding machine, a roll trimming line, and more.

According to a press release, on June 11 at about 8:13am, the CNMI Department of Public Safety received a 911 call regarding a burglary at the CNMI Ma’afala Breadfruit Farm in Kagman and dispatched officers to the scene.

At about 8:34am, officers arrived on scene and met with two individuals who worked at the farm.

The first individual stated that he arrived at the farm and began conducting his routine check of the area when he noticed that one of the metal containers looked to be open.

The second individual then called 911 after discovering that a number of farm tools were missing.

Both individuals noticed that the rear window of their government vehicle that was parked at the farm had been smashed open.

As they approached the vehicle, they noticed another container had been forcefully opened as well.
