Shark has launched a new range of vacuum cleaners, Stratos, claiming it will ‘transform the way we clean our homes’

The most advanced collection yet from the UK’s best-selling vacuum cleaner brand, the ‘game-changing’ Stratos models combine well-loved technologies with innovative new features to easily tackle pet hair, odours, and tougher dirt and debris.

Both corded and cordless models are available, with a unique floorhead design and new Anti Hair Wrap Plus, which picks up long and short hair from the brush-roll as you clean without tangling.

The cordless range will also exclusively feature Clean Sense IQ technology, which picks up 50% more dirt by sensing dust that you can’t see and adjusting suction power. An intelligent indicator in the floorhead illuminates as suction increases.

Building on Shark’s line-up of innovations, Stratos models will include Anti-Odour Technology that uses cartridges to prevent bad smells in the dust cup and freshen the air as you go.

Meanwhile, an Anti-Allergen Complete Seal offers extra reassurance for allergy sufferers and homes with pets, trapping 99.9% of dust and allergens inside the vacuum.

In tests, 9 out of 10 pet owners said they’d recommend the range, and the same amount claimed they could smell a difference in a room after using the vacuums.
