Apple's new polishing cloth is popular all over the world, and as usual, Samsung follows closely behind. Apple charges $19 for its polishing cloth, and Samsung makes fun of Apple’s high-quality products by giving away free polishing cloths to buyers...

According to the Dutch blog Galaxy Club, Samsung users can apply for a "velvety soft cleaning cloth" for their phones through the company's membership app in Germany. There were at least 1,000 wipes available, which are now gone.

It is not clear whether Samsung will continue to provide more polishing cloths, especially when Apple is also "struggling" with long delivery times for customers. If you order Apple polishing cloth today, it will not arrive until 2022.

According to the blog, Samsung offers free polishing clothes for buyers of its full range of smartphones, including Galaxy A52s, Galaxy S21, Galaxy Z Flip 3 or Galaxy Z Fold 3.

Earlier, Apple released a polishing cloth priced at $19 after the "Unleashed" event, and the company also launched the new MacBook Pro and AirPods 3.

One thing that caught people’s attention was which products Apple said were “compatible” with polishing cloths. This means that, technically, you cannot clean iPhone 4 with a cloth.

Fortunately, Parker Ortolani of 9to5Mac was able to get Apple's polishing cloth before the delivery date was delayed:

I recommend using Apple polishing cloth carefully. If it is used to clean up liquids or other types of marks that may be left by food, light gray can easily become very dirty. If you do this and want a new one, I hope you can find one before 2022.

It is unclear whether there is a safe way to clean the polishing cloth. It can of course be washed by hand or thrown into the washing machine. But since we are not sure what it is made of, I will avoid trying anything that is too crazy.

Now we have to wait and see how Samsung's polishing cloth compares with Apple. Which cleaning effect is better? Maybe Parker will make a comparison post for us soon. stay tuned.
